Sustainability
Natural materials, accurate measuring, less waste, and floors specified to last rather than to be replaced.
The most sustainable carpet is the one that does not need replacing in three years.
How we try to do this properly
We are a shop, not a mill — so our impact is decided by what we choose to stock, how accurately we cut it, and how long we can make it last.
Natural fibres
A whole undyed collection, plus jute and sisal, recommended wherever the room allows.
Accurate measuring
Cutting plans made against the roll width so off-cuts are minimised before a knife comes out.
Repair before replace
Patches, re-seams and plank swaps offered ahead of a new floor whenever the damage is local.
Specified to last
We push the quality that suits the traffic, because the greenest floor is the one fitted once.
Natural first, where it makes sense
Our Noble Natural range is undyed throughout, and we stock jute and sisal alongside it. We point people towards them wherever the room allows: natural fibres come from a renewable source, they are processed with less chemistry, and at the end of their life they break down into something soil can use rather than something a landfill has to hold.
Where a room genuinely needs a synthetic, we look for the qualities that will last longest. A floor replaced twice is worse for everyone than a heavier one bought once.
- A whole collection — Noble Natural — with no dye in it at all
- Jute, sisal and undyed wool rugs held in stock
- Wool blends woven on natural cotton and jute backing
- Longer-lasting qualities recommended over cheaper repeat purchases
Measure twice, cut once
Most carpet waste is created before anything is fitted — in the estimating. Over-order by fifteen percent "to be safe" and that fifteen percent goes into a skip.
We measure on site, plan the cutting layout against the roll width, and use the off-cuts: a landing, a cupboard floor, a bound mat for the entrance. What is genuinely unusable is offered on before it is thrown, and old flooring we lift is separated rather than mixed into one load.
- Site measurement and a planned cutting layout for every job
- Off-cuts bound into mats and runners instead of discarded
- Lifted flooring separated for reuse or disposal
We will patch it before we sell you a new one
A burn, a pet stain, a lifted seam or a swollen plank is usually a repair, not a replacement. Send us a photo — if it can be fixed, we would rather fix it.

Send us the room dimensions, or ask for a visit — we bring samples to your address, measure properly and quote the finished, fitted price. No charge for the visit.
