Two separate things are at work in any warranty on a floor: the material, covered by whoever made it, and the installation, covered by us. Confusing the two is what makes warranty conversations go badly, so here is the split.

What we cover
- Seams and heat-sealed joins that open or lift

- Tracks, poles, brackets and motors we installed coming loose
- Trims, thresholds and stair rods working free
What no warranty covers
- Water damage, flooding and leaks from above or below
- Burns, cuts, pet damage and accidental staining
- Fading from prolonged direct sunlight
- Damage from dragged furniture or unprotected castor wheels
- Neglected maintenance, or cleaning against the manufacturer's instructions
- Products supplied by us but fitted by somebody else

We visit, decide whether it is material or workmanship, and take it up with the mill if it is theirs.
